2017 GBO Juniors Challenge presented by the Emporia Gazette

Dynamic Discs is proud to welcome back the 2017 Dynamic Discs Glass Blown Open Junior’s Challenge presented by The Emporia Gazette for a second year. We believe that the world of Disc Golf has many talented junior players and we want them to have a chance to be part of the Glass Blown Open experience.

This event will be a Trophy Only event. The event will include some great clinics presented by top PDGA pros, free lunch, and one round at the Emporia Middle School disc golf course.

    What group would a 11 year old boy be in

      He would play in MJ3 – Junior III. This division is <=12 years old. Thanks for checking!

      He would play in MJ2 – Junior II. This division is <=15 years old. MJ3 - Junior III is <=12 years old so he is just above that division.

    I have an 8 year-old who has never played, but throws a mean frisbee. Is he old enough to participate in this event?

      Absolutely! The Junior V (MJ5) division would be perfect for him. It is for players that are 8 and under. He will have a great time!

    Do juniors have to be a PDGA member to compete?

      You do not have to be a PDGA member to compete in this event.

    Is there a players pack?

      There is no player pack for the event. Juniors will receive a free lunch as well as clinics with top PDGA pros.
